2025 Acura ADX Launches As Premium Compact SUV Starting At $35,000
The 2025 Acura ADX, a new compact SUV, is set to hit dealerships this spring. This vehicle aims to attract younger buyers with its turbocharged engine and premium features. The starting price is $35,000, excluding a $1,350 destination charge. Mike Langel from Acura highlighted the ADX as a gateway model for millennials and Gen Z entering the premium market.
The ADX will be available in several trims with different drivetrain options. The base front-wheel-drive (FWD) model starts at $35,000, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version is priced at $37,000. The A-Spec FWD trim costs $38,000, and its AWD counterpart is $40,000. For those seeking more luxury, the A-Spec with Advance Package starts at $42,000 for FWD and $44,000 for AWD.
The Acura ADX comes equipped with numerous high-end features. Standard offerings include a moonroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, rear air conditioning vents, and an 18-inch alloy wheel set. The interior boasts a 10.2-inch digital instrument display and a 9-inch touchscreen with physical volume control. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are also standard.
For tech enthusiasts, the ADX includes Wi-Fi hotspot capability and a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charger. The A-Spec trims add sporty elements like LED fog lamps and larger wheels. Inside, you'll find Ultrasuede seat trim and ambient LED lighting for an enhanced driving experience.
Performance and Driving Experience
The Acura ADX promises an engaging drive with its turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine. This engine offers refined power similar to that found in the Integra model. The sport-tuned continuously variable transmission (CVT) enhances the driving experience with metal paddle shifters and Step Shift programming for simulated gear changes during acceleration.
An advanced all-wheel-drive system is available across all trims to improve handling and traction in challenging conditions. The fully independent sport-tuned suspension contributes to the vehicle's outstanding ride quality.
Safety Features
Safety remains a priority for Acura with the ADX featuring both active and passive safety technologies as standard. This includes the AcuraWatch suite of driver-assistive technologies along with next-generation airbags for both driver and passenger safety.
Acura's Commitment to Performance
Acura continues its tradition of delivering vehicles built on Precision Crafted Performance DNA. Their lineup includes two sport sedans—Integra and TLX—and four SUVs: ADX, RDX, MDX, and the electric ZDX. Additionally, the RSX electric performance SUV will enter production later this year.
"The turbocharged Acura ADX is an exciting addition to our SUV lineup," said Mike Langel from Acura National Sales.
All Acura vehicles sold in 2024 were manufactured in America using both domestic and globally sourced parts.
