First Bespoke Continental GTC Speed Raises $1.7M For Charity At Naples Winter Wine Festival
The 2025 Naples Winter Wine Festival (NWWF) featured a notable auction where Bentley's latest Continental GTC Speed was sold for charity. This event, marking its 25th anniversary, raised over $34 million for the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), setting a new record. The auctioned vehicle, a bespoke creation by Mulliner, fetched $1.7 million, making it the highest bid of the day.
The auction lot included not only the delivery of this unique Continental GTC Speed but also an exclusive package for Monterey Car Week in August 2025. The car boasts a Damson exterior with a Dark Grey Metallic fabric roof and a Light Grey interior roof. The interior features White and Damson hides with silver piping, creating a luxurious feel.
Adding to its exclusivity are personalized treadplates for the NWWF, blackline and touring specifications, LED welcome lights, and a Moonbeam-painted pinstripe on the exterior. A unique piano white and Damson-painted veneer further distinguishes this vehicle as one-of-a-kind.
The winners of this auction will enjoy Bentley's exclusive Monterey Car Week program in August 2025. This includes four nights at The Inn at Spanish Bay, two tickets to Bentley’s VIP Terrace during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and VIP access to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with hospitality suite access at The Lodge.
Additionally, winners receive invitations to Bentley’s Beach Dinner at Seal Rock Beach and access to Bentley’s Signature Party at the Beach and Tennis Club. These experiences highlight Bentley's commitment to providing unparalleled luxury experiences.
Philanthropic Impact
Bentley Motors' involvement in the NWWF underscores their dedication to philanthropy. Proceeds from the auction support NCEF's mission to aid underprivileged children in Collier County, Florida. Since its inception in 2001, the festival has raised over $336 million for community programs.
Jun Watanabe from Bentley Americas expressed pride in supporting these charitable efforts. "Contributing to the community and fostering a sense of purpose are integral to our broader understanding of sustainability," he stated.
