Bid Now On The Rare 2004 Ferrari Enzo Certified By Classiche At Collecting Cars Auction
A rare 2004 Ferrari Enzo, delivered in the UK and certified by Ferrari Classiche, is currently up for auction on Collecting Cars. This iconic hypercar, finished in Rosso Corsa, has already attracted bids exceeding £1.65 million. With fewer than 15,000 miles on the clock, this sale offers a unique opportunity for collectors seeking rarity and prestige.
The Enzo was originally launched in 2002 as a tribute to Ferrari's founder and a showcase of Formula 1 technology. It followed the F40 and F50 in Ferrari’s halo car lineage. The car features a naturally aspirated V12 engine without hybrid assistance, making it one of the most advanced supercars of its time.
Inside, the Enzo boasts carbon-fibre racing seats trimmed in Nero leather with Rosso inserts. The cabin includes extensive visible carbon-fibre and rare factory details like a Rosso leather steering wheel centre. These features contribute to its F1-inspired interior design.
Externally, the car rides on twin-spoke 19-inch BBS alloy wheels refinished in darker silver over carbon-ceramic brakes. The lower bodywork has been updated to match the Rosso Corsa finish, replacing the original black for a cohesive look.
This particular Enzo was delivered by Meridien Modena in Hampshire in 2004 and has been with its current owner for nearly two decades. It comes with a comprehensive service history from Ferrari main dealers and specialists. The most recent service was completed by Autofficina in June 2024.
Despite sustaining some damage early on, it was fully repaired by Ferrari’s official bodyshop, Carrozzeria Zanasi Maranello. The car remains mechanically original with all work documented as part of its provenance.
Collecting Cars Auction Details
The auction for this special UK-registered Ferrari Enzo concludes on Tuesday, 13 May. Edward Lovett, Founder and CEO of Collecting Cars, remarked: "The Enzo is one of the most important Ferraris of the modern era – a car that captured the spirit of early 2000s Formula 1."
With only around 400 examples produced globally, many are now held in private collections. This makes public sales rare, especially for UK-market cars like this one with low mileage and long-term ownership.
