Ferrari Amalfi Revealed - Arriverdeci Roma
Ferrari has introduced the Amalfi, the replacement of its former entry-level model, the Roma. This arrival of the Ferrari Amalfi comes as new competitors from Aston Martin, Bentley, and Porsche emerge and try to cut Ferrari sales
The Amalfi's exterior showcases a fresh design with LED headlights in a narrow opening, topped by an LED lightbar and small intake. A black bar houses some sensors, while the main radar remains below. The lower grille is now a large wraparound opening with delicate mesh. Despite new metal body panels, the structure remains similar to the Roma's.

Interior Enhancements and Technology
Inside, the Amalfi boasts a new dashboard and centre console that enhance space perception without altering dimensions. A central bridge replaces the Roma's stylised console, often specified in carbon fibre but standard in anodised aluminium. Rear seats remain tight, suitable for children, with a 273-litre boot accommodating carry-on luggage.
Ferrari has responded to customer feedback by replacing haptic steering wheel buttons with physical controls for easier navigation of complex menus. A physical red starter button replaces the unpopular touch control. The dash now features a horizontal display from the 12Cilindri under a new dashtop for an open cabin feel.

Chassis and Engine Improvements
Underneath its new exterior, Ferrari has enhanced existing hardware with technical updates. A new ECU better integrates chassis systems, while an improved braking system promises better feel and consistency. New springs and dampers provide greater versatility between sports car and GT modes compared to the Roma.
The Amalfi retains its 3.9-litre V8 engine but re-engineered for increased power at 631bhp and 760Nm torque. Power is delivered through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission to rear wheels, aided by an electronically controlled differential.
Competitive Landscape
The Amalfi arrives amid fierce competition in the GT class with updated models from rivals like Aston Martin's DB12 S model expected soon with over 671bhp. Bentley is enhancing its Continental GT Speed, while Porsche plans a hybrid-assisted 911 Turbo at sportier levels.
