Female Ex-F1 Engineer Dr. Cristiana Pace Leads Enovation Consulting To Win King's Award For International Trade
Enovation Consulting, led by former F1 engineer Dr. Cristiana Pace, has been awarded the 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. This recognition marks the first time a sports sustainability firm has received this honour. The award acknowledges UK businesses that have demonstrated remarkable growth in international earnings relative to their size and sector.
The King’s Award for Enterprise, previously known as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, was renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to continuing the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II. This prestigious accolade is the most esteemed business award in the UK, allowing recipients to display the King’s Award Emblem for five years.
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Pace, Enovation Consulting began with a focus on motorsport sustainability. It quickly expanded its services to include various sports like football, tennis, sailing, and athletics. The company offers comprehensive solutions that integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices into business strategies.
Dr. Pace highlighted the importance of sustainability in sports: "Sustainability in sports is all too often overlooked or just perceived as a communication exercise. We work with sports organisations to address sustainability in a robust, impactful, innovative and data-driven way that results in meaningful change."
Enovation Consulting's influence extends globally, working with over 60 organisations across multiple continents including Oceania, the Middle East, and Europe. Their clients range from motorsport teams like Williams Racing and Haas F1 Team to events such as Formula E and the World Rally Championship.
The consultancy provides an array of services such as sustainability strategies, circular economy initiatives, FIA environmental accreditations, ISO certifications (ISO14001, ISO20121), carbon footprint calculations, ESG reporting, sustainable communication workshops and climate innovation.
