Farizon SV Impresses Over 100 Fleet Managers And Leasing Professionals At Millbrook Test Event
The Farizon SV large van has made a significant impact on over 100 fleet professionals in the UK. They tested it on the challenging tracks of UTAC Millbrook in Bedfordshire. This event was part of Company Car in Action, where Farizon showcased its L1 H1 and L2 H2 variants. The brand is making waves in the light commercial vehicle sector.
Fleet buyers had the opportunity to test drive these models over two days. Nick Falconer from Avon and Somerset Police shared his positive experience: "My first impressions of driving the Farizon SV are great. It’s got a nice spacious cabin, great visibility, is comfortable and has a nice clean design inside. A lot of drivers just want to move from a conventional vehicle to something a bit different, and the Farizon enables this."
Muiris O’Connell, Chief Financial Officer at Sovereign Partners, expressed interest in electrifying his fleet after testing the SV: "I’m interested in electrifying my fleet and the SV was much better than I expected - I came away pleasantly surprised." Martyn Escritt from Essex Motor Factors added that the SV drove like a family SUV with ample pallet space.
The event also featured an L1 H1 model prominently displayed in the 'Vans in Action' area, showcasing top light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Additionally, an L3 H3 variant served as a barista bar during the event, demonstrating its versatility.
The Farizon SV is now available for order starting at £40,000 plus VAT. This price includes the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG). The van comes equipped with advanced features such as a b-pillarless design, cell-to-pack battery packaging, and payload monitoring systems.
Standard features include 360-degree surround view, radar-guided cruise control, heated seats and steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay, and comprehensive ADAS safety systems. The SV offers up to 13 m3 of load capacity and can carry up to 1,350 kg.
Innovative Technology and Future Plans
The van's vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology powers various appliances using three domestic sockets. Kate McLaren from Jameel Motors Farizon Auto UK discussed future plans during a panel discussion. She announced a new flagship dealership opening in London later this year.
McLaren highlighted their commitment to building confidence among fleet and retail buyers through partnerships with The AA and DHL. "Being a start-up, we’re able to think about the whole vehicle in its first-, second- and third- use; the fleet buyer and the retail customer too," she stated.
Battery Options and Range
The SV offers three battery choices: 67kWh, 82kWh or 106kWh across five body configurations from L1 H1 to L3 H3. It can travel up to 247 miles on a single charge according to WLTP combined figures.
