Exploring Portugal's Hidden Treasures During The Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 Journey
The Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 offered an unforgettable journey through Portugal's diverse landscapes. Over six days, 18 Bugatti models covered more than 1000 kilometers, navigating some of the country's most scenic and challenging roads. "The Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 in Portugal was a multi-sensory journey through a country rich in contrasts," said Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director of Bugatti Automobiles.
Bugatti owners began their adventure at Torel Quinta da Vacaria in Vilarinho dos Freires. Under the Portuguese twilight, 18 Bugatti cars lined up as guests enjoyed welcome cocktails. The lineup included models from a 2007 Veyron 16.4 to a pre-series 2025 W16 Mistral, showcasing Bugatti's legacy.
The tour continued with a drive through the Douro Valley, where participants experienced both driving pleasure and cultural immersion. A visit to Quinta do Vesúvio highlighted the region's winemaking heritage, mirroring Bugatti's dedication to excellence. A special bottle of Carvalhas Port wine from 1876 was opened during dinner to honour this tradition.
Participants then travelled over 230 kilometers through Portugal’s heartland, passing landmarks like the São João de Tarouca Monastery. The convoy was warmly welcomed by locals in traditional attire. The day ended at Casa de São Lourenço with views over the Glacier Valley.
The longest drive took participants nearly to Torre da Estrela's summit before descending into Alentejo's rolling landscapes. After lunch at Herdade Papa Leite, they arrived at Quinta do Paral Hotel for sunset cocktails and a barbecue among vineyards.
The tour concluded with an exclusive visit to Circuito do Sol, a private racetrack inspired by famous circuits like Spa-Francorchamps. Participants enjoyed driving their Bugattis on the track before relaxing at Herdade do Sobroso Wine & Country House for lunch.
Celebrating Performance and Heritage
Ettore Bugatti designed his cars to be driven, and today's owners continue this tradition by experiencing their vehicles on the road. "What an incredible event and what a pleasure and an honor to share the journey with members of the Bugatti family," said Alexis Polix, Director After Sales & Customer Service at Bugatti Automobiles.
The event ended with a farewell dinner celebrating shared memories and experiences. The tour was organized with help from partner 2FAST4YOU SRL, ensuring its success and creating lasting memories for all involved.
