Euro Commercials Strengthens Presence In South West England With City West Commercials Acquisition
Euro Commercials has expanded its reach by acquiring City West Commercials, extending its influence from Wales into the South West of England. This acquisition includes facilities in Avonmouth, Exeter, and Highbridge. The move is part of Daimler Truck UK's strategy to enhance customer support in the region following the closure of its Roche facility in Cornwall.
Daimler Truck UK assures customers of uninterrupted service and increased workshop capacity in the South West. Technical support, warranty services, and access to Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts will continue. Additionally, 24/7 breakdown coverage remains available throughout Devon and Cornwall. ETS Truck & Van will provide extra workshop support for Cornwall from Redruth.
The acquisition aligns with Euro Commercials' commitment to Daimler Truck's UK operations. With over 40 years of experience and advanced facilities in Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea, Euro Commercials aims to maintain high standards at the newly acquired locations. These sites will be rebranded but will continue to uphold Daimler Truck UK's excellence.
Operations at Euro Commercials will largely remain unchanged, ensuring continuity for customers. However, the former City West Commercials site in Roche closed on 30th May. To maintain service levels in this area, ETS Truck & Van will offer additional workshop support while Daimler Truck UK's Mobile Technician Concept will be introduced.
Heiko Selzam, Managing Director of Daimler Truck UK Limited, praised Euro Commercials' transformation into a high-performing operation.
