Electrify America Commits Over $7.4 Million To Enhance Zero-Emission Vehicle Awareness And Education Initiatives
Electrify America has announced a significant investment exceeding $7.4 million to enhance zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) access and education across the United States. This funding aims to support programs that promote ZEVs, focusing on low-income and disadvantaged communities. The initiative also seeks to develop a skilled workforce in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields related to electric vehicles (EVs).
The latest funding will benefit various organizations nationwide, including Breathe Southern California, Charge Across Town, Ecology Action, Edtunity Institute, Drive Electric Long Island, Ignited Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, New York Power Authority, Plug In America, Tennessee Clean Fuels, and Valley Clean Air Now. These groups will receive support for their efforts in promoting EV transportation and education.
