Electrify America And Audi Of America Enhance Charging Agreement For New Q6 E-tron
Electrify America and Audi of America have expanded their electric vehicle charging agreement to include the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron. This collaboration offers original owners of the Q6 e-tron a year of free DC fast charging, along with Plug&Charge technology. This initiative aims to enhance the EV ownership experience by providing seamless charging options across a vast network.
The complimentary charging benefit is available for one year from the purchase date of the Q6 e-tron. Owners can activate this benefit through the myAudi App, which also helps locate nearby charging stations and check their availability. The app ensures that drivers can easily navigate to these stations, making the process more convenient.
Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America, stated, "Electrify America is proud to share a mutual goal with Audi of America, which is to make EV ownership a seamless experience." He highlighted that Audi Q6 e-tron owners can enjoy the vehicle’s range and recharge at any Hyper-Fast station nationwide.
Electrify America is pioneering Plug&Charge technology across its open DC fast-charging network. To use this feature, owners must enroll in their vehicle’s Electrify America plan. Once activated, Plug&Charge allows users to simply plug in their vehicles without needing screens or cards.
The 2025 Q6 e-tron joins Audi's growing e-tron lineup, which includes models like the Q4 e-tron and e-tron GT. The upcoming Audi A6 e-tron will also offer similar benefits upon its release this summer, continuing Audi's commitment to enhancing EV accessibility.
