Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack To Make Race Debut At One Lap Of America Event
The Dodge Charger Daytona, known for its speed and power, will debut in the 41st Tire Rack One Lap of America. This event spans over 3,500 miles across eight states from May 3-10. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack, driven by David Carr and Sean Yoder, will compete in the Alternative Fuel class. It features a unique black-and-orange design with the Fratzog logo.
The Charger Daytona Scat Pack is equipped with a roll cage and track-ready performance features. It includes massive Brembo brakes and continuously variable dampers for optimal handling. The vehicle's rear mechanical limited slip differential ensures excellent grip, while the rear spoiler provides stability at high speeds. These features make it well-suited for both street and track performance.
Track Package enhancements include various drive modes such as Track, Drag, and Custom. Track mode optimises performance on dry tracks, while Drag Mode is ideal for straight-line acceleration on drag strips. Custom Mode allows drivers to adjust steering feel and pedal response to their preference.
Launch Control offers five levels of launch intensity for optimal acceleration from a standstill. The race prep system supports energy output by adjusting battery temperature based on racing needs. Drift/Donut Mode enables rear-biased propulsion with adjustable traction control for drifting activities.
