2026 Dodge Durango Lineup Introduces HEMI-Powered R/T Blacktop Redline Package And Enhanced Features
The 2026 Dodge Durango lineup introduces exciting updates, focusing on the HEMI-powered Durango R/T. The new Blacktop Redline package enhances this model with 20-by-8-inch Black Noise wheels and blacked-out badges. Additionally, the Tow N Go package returns, offering a towing capacity of up to 8,700 lbs. This year’s lineup also includes refreshed wheel options for the R/T model.
Ordering for the 2026 Dodge Durango GT and R/T models begins in June, with deliveries expected in Q3 2025. The starting U.S. MSRP for the Durango GT is $38,495, while the Durango R/T starts at $49,995. These prices exclude destination costs of $1,995, taxes, and fees. Details about the powerful 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat will be revealed in Q3 2025.
The Dodge Durango R/T is powered by a robust 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. It features all-wheel drive as standard and includes new Satin Carbon wheels, a performance hood, and a premium audio system with nine speakers. The vehicle also offers modern connectivity options like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Tow N Go package is available for an additional U.S. MSRP of $5,990 and includes features like anti-lock brakes and adaptive damping. This package enhances towing capabilities while adding performance-tuned steering and widebody flares. It also provides access to exclusive drive modes through a touchscreen interface.
The entry-level Dodge Durango GT is equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 295 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard features include an eight-speed automatic transmission, seven-passenger seating, heated front seats, and advanced safety systems like Blind-spot Monitoring.
The GT Plus variant adds luxury elements such as all-wheel drive, Nappa leather seats, a power sunroof, and enhanced audio systems. The Blacktop Redline package returns for this model with unique styling elements like red tracer decals and SRT performance seats.
Interior Enhancements
The interior of the Durango R/T Blacktop Redline package boasts six leather and suede SRT performance seats with red stitching. It also includes premium leather-wrapped door trims and consoles adorned with laser-etched geometric designs known as "crypto sweep" inlays.
For those opting for the standard Blacktop package on the R/T model, it offers seating for seven passengers along with blacked-out badging and roof rails at an additional cost of $1,695.
Dodge's Legacy
Dodge has been synonymous with performance since its inception over a century ago by John and Horace Dodge. Today, it continues to lead in various segments with vehicles like the all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the powerful gas-engine SUV Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.
"The Dodge Durango is the three-row muscle SUV," said Dodge CEO Matt McAlear. "It offers best-in-class towing at every trim level." He added that retail sales have increased by 64% year over year in Q1 due to its unique combination of power and performance under $50,000.
The brand remains committed to delivering high-performance vehicles while exploring electrification options for future models like the next-generation Charger featuring multi-energy powertrains.
