Dacia Launches Innovative Boot Organiser App To Enhance Vehicle Packing Experience
Dacia has introduced an innovative augmented reality feature called the 'Boot Organiser' within its 'Dacia AR' app. This tool helps users efficiently load and optimise their boot space. Available on both iOS and Android, the app allows users to explore Dacia vehicles in any setting, at any time. This addition aligns with Dacia's commitment to enhancing everyday life through digital solutions.
The 'Boot Organiser' is designed to simplify packing for various occasions such as weekend getaways or moving house. It helps users visualise where to place items like suitcases and surfboards in their car boot. If an item isn't listed, users can add it themselves, ensuring a personalised packing experience. The tool also offers demo scenarios for camping trips, house moves, or holidays to help users make the most of their boot space.
This new tool is part of a suite of services that expand Dacia's digital offerings. Another feature is the 'Dacia Travel Companion', which enhances travel experiences by monitoring driver fatigue through facial expressions and sleep data. It also suggests personalised stops along a route, making journeys safer and more enjoyable. The app works seamlessly with navigation tools like Waze, Google Maps, or Apple Maps.
Dacia's digital ecosystem ensures a continuous connection between car owners and their vehicles via smartphones. A single account streamlines the customer experience across all Dacia tools available on iOS and Android platforms. This approach reflects Dacia's philosophy of providing practical solutions that integrate into customers' daily lives.
Founded in 1968 and revitalised by Renault Group in 2004, Dacia has consistently offered value-for-money vehicles by focusing on essential features. Models like the Sandero, Europe's top retail car since 2017, and the Duster, the leading SUV for private buyers since 2018, exemplify this approach. The brand also includes versatile models like the Jogger and affordable electric options like the Spring.
Dacia has sold over nine million vehicles across 44 countries since 2004. Launched in the UK in January 2013, it quickly became one of the most successful new car brands there, with over 260,000 units sold to date. This success underscores Dacia's reputation for delivering reliable cars that meet diverse customer needs.
The introduction of these digital tools highlights Dacia's commitment to innovation while maintaining its core values of simplicity and reliability. By integrating technology into its offerings, Dacia continues to redefine what customers can expect from their vehicles.
