Coppa Delle Alpi 2025: Final Month To Register For The Iconic Winter Race
The 1000 Miglia winter regularity race is set to return from 12 to 16 March 2025, covering a 930-kilometre route through Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. This event marks the beginning of the ACI Sport 2025 Italian Major Events Championship. The technical and administrative checks will occur in Brescia on the afternoon of 12 March.
On the first day, participants will engage in a new feature for this year, the Città di Brescia Trophy. This knockout challenge will take place at 5 pm in the city centre. The following day, crews will start their journey towards Val Camonica, stopping for lunch in Tirano before heading to Bormio and Livigno for a Time Control and refreshment break.
After passing through the Munt la Schera tunnel, the race will enter Switzerland, concluding its first leg in St. Moritz. On Friday, participants will visit Val Müstair for trials near the Monastero di San Giovanni, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The convoy will then re-enter Italy via the Resia Pass before heading to Austria.
In Austria, Stams will host lunch before participants drive down to Innsbruck. They will then return to Italy through the Brenner Pass, finishing this leg in Brixen. The final day includes traversing the Gardena and Pordoi Passes with a lunch stop in Baselga di Pinè before reaching the finish line at Tonale Pass.
After crossing the finish line at Tonale Pass, participants can enjoy a driving experience on snow at Pista Ghiaccio Val di Sole. Trials here are part of awarding the Ponte di Legno Trophy. The prize-giving ceremony will be held at Presena Glacier's stunning location.
The event offers seven guaranteed entries to the 1000 Miglia 2026 for top performers. Interested parties can register until 4 p.m. on 7 February 2025.
