Citroen C3 Sport Edition Launched At Rs 6.44 Lakh - Big Cosmetic Changes

French car manufacturer Citroen has launched the C3 Sport Edition in India. Prices for the Citroen C3 Sport Edition start at Rs 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Citroen C3 Sport Edition is offered with all three variants of the C3 sold in India - Live, Feel, Shine & Shine Turbo - and cost an extra Rs 21,000 (ex-showroom) over the "standard" versions of the French hatchback. Another Rs 15,000 adds an optional tech pack to the offering.

Citroen C3 Sport Edition - What Are The Changes?

The Citroen C3 Sport Edition brings a host of cosmetic changes to the "standard" versions of the C3 hatchback including a brand new colour scheme - Garnet Red.

Other changes come in the form of decals on the front bumper, bonnet and roof, which together form a multi-coloured racing stripe on the C3 Sport Edition. Also seen are decals on the door and C3 Sport and the French flag on the front doors.

More changes can be seen when you step inside the new Citroen C3 Sport. These changes include new seat covers with "SPORT" badging, an orange stripe and hexagonal patterns. Also seen in the cabin are matching seat belts and carpets along with sporty aluminium pedals and ambient lighting.

The optional Tech Pack adds two rather useful features to the Citroen C3 Sport Edition in the form of a wireless phone charger and a dash camera.

Citroen C3 Sport Edition - Mechanical Bits

Mechanically, the C3 Sport Edition is unchanged compared to its "standard" siblings. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine pushes out 80bhp and 115Nm of peak torque while the turbocharged version of the same 3-pot engine pushes out 109bhp and 190Nm. The NA engine is offered with a five-speed manual gearbox while the turbocharged engine gets a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
