Citroen C3, Aircross, & Basalt Dark Edition To Be Launched Today In India
Citroen is set to introduce the Dark Editions of its Basalt, C3, and Aircross models in India on April 10. These special edition vehicles will join the growing list of Dark Edition cars recently launched in the Indian market. The new editions promise unique styling elements and features that differentiate them from their standard counterparts.
Citroen Basalt Dark Edition
The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition will feature an all-black exterior with contrasting elements on the bumper and grille. Inside, the cabin will adopt a black theme, replacing the usual black and beige. The seats and dashboard will have contrast stitching. Top variants will include climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless phone mirroring, a digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable mirrors, power windows, and connected car technologies. Expect to pay an additional ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 over standard models for this edition.

Citroen C3 Dark Edition
The Citroen C3 Dark Edition will sport a new black exterior complemented by various blacked-out elements. Silver-finished faux skid plates and dual-tone alloy wheels add to its appeal. Inside, a black theme with red stitching adorns the dashboard, seats, and armrest. Front seats feature 'Dark Edition' embroidery with grey inserts. Additional accessories like special edition seat belts and cushions enhance its uniqueness.

Citroen Aircross Dark Edition
For the Citroen Aircross Dark Edition SUV, expect a black exterior similar to its siblings. Silver skid plates remain unchanged while the tailgate displays bold 'AIRCROSS' chrome lettering. Dual-tone alloy wheels are included along with a 'DARK EDITION' badge in black. The interior retains its layout but adds premium black leatherette upholstery with red highlights, illuminated sill plates, and ambient footwell lighting for added luxury.

Pricing Expectations
The launch of these Dark Editions aligns with recent trends in India's passenger vehicle market, where manufacturers offer special editions to attract buyers seeking exclusivity. While specific pricing details are yet to be announced officially by Citroen India at launch time on April 10th, potential buyers should anticipate paying slightly more than equivalent standard versions due to enhanced aesthetics coupled with technological upgrades found within each model's respective package offerings.
DriveSpark Thinks
These new editions reflect Citroen's strategy to cater to customers looking for distinct styling options without compromising on features or performance capabilities offered across their existing lineup.
