Citroen Aircross X Pre-Bookings Open Ahead Of Launch - New Features & Colour Option
French carmaker Citroen has started taking bookings for the Aircross X in India with a token amount of ₹11,000. The "X" update follows similar revisions for the C3 and Basalt models, bringing fresh features to the top-trim Aircross and making it a stronger package.
The teaser for the new Ciroen Aircross X shows a new dark green paint option. The SUV is also expected to feature fresh "Aircross X" badging on the tailgate as well as a few tweaks o its front and rear design.

Inside the cabin, cruise control has been confirmed. Other likely additions include push-button start/stop, white ambient lighting, LED fog lamps, updated trim inserts, an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, and a leatherette wrap for the dashboard. A 360-degree camera is also expected as an option.
Citroën's Cara in-car AI assistant, introduced in the new Basalt X is expected to also arrive with the Aircross X. This system should allow voice commands, provide vehicle data, and suggest traffic-optimised routes, while also expanding the SUV's overall connectivity features.

Mechanically, the SUV is not expected to change. The entry-level Aircross X will continue with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine making 82 hp, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Higher variants will keep the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 110 hp. Customers will be able to choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, depending on trim and preference.
Like other Citroën X updates, no major mechanical upgrades are planned. The focus is squarely on new features and cosmetic enhancements rather than altering the existing powertrain line-up.
Pre-bookings for the upcoming Citroen Aircross X are now open across dealerships and online platforms. More details, including pricing and variant-wise equipment lists, are expected to be revealed at the official launch of the Aircross X, which we expect Citroen to do so in the very near future.
