2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Pricing Announced With Unmatched Performance Features
Chevrolet has revealed the pricing for its most powerful Corvette to date. The 2025 Corvette ZR1, with a top speed of 233 mph and acceleration from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, boasts an impressive 1,064 horsepower. This makes it unmatched by any other production car under $1 million. The announcement was made just before the Detroit Auto Show, which starts on Friday.
The Corvette ZR1 comes in two trims: 1LZ and 3LZ. Both trims feature a hand-assembled twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1,064 hp, a visible carbon fibre roof, carbon ceramic brakes, a Performance Data Recorder, and carbon fibre ground effects with side intakes. Scott Bell, vice president of global Chevrolet, stated, "ZR1 is an example of design and engineering excellence, one where we push the boundaries of what’s possible in terms of performance."
The ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package is available for $8,495. It replaces the standard aero package with high-downforce features like a rear wing and front dive planes. Additionally, the ZTK Performance Package costs $1,500 and requires the Carbon Fiber Aero Package to enhance track performance.
Chevrolet will start taking orders for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 in mid-February. The starting price is $174,995 for the 1LZ coupe and $184,995 for the hardtop convertible. The 3LZ coupe starts at $185,995 while the convertible version begins at $195,995. Production will commence at Bowling Green Assembly in Q2.
The ZR1's engine is a 5.5L twin-turbocharged LT7 DOHC flat-plane crank V8. It delivers 828 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm according to SAE guidelines. This makes it not only the fastest Corvette but also the quickest American-made car ever built.
