Chance Hymas Achieves Sixth Place Finish For Red Riders At Pittsburgh Supercross Event

In Pittsburgh, the AMA Supercross series' 15th round saw notable performances from Honda HRC Progressive riders. Dean Wilson achieved a top-10 finish in the 450SX class, while Chance Hymas led the Red Riders in the 250SX East with a sixth-place result. During the 250SX main event, Hymas started well on his CRF250RWE, initially securing sixth place. He advanced to fifth but eventually finished sixth after lap 13. Cullin Park of Phoenix Racing Honda secured seventh, followed by Henry Miller in eighth. Izaih Clark finished 11th, Justin Rodbell 13th, Trevor Colip 14th, Lance Kobusch 16th, and Luke Neese completed the group in 22nd.

In qualifying for the 250SX East, Henry Miller led with the seventh-best time. Hymas followed closely in eighth place. Lance Kobusch was ninth, while Cullin Park and Justin Rodbell secured 10th and 12th positions respectively. Ryder Floyd and Luke Neese qualified in 17th and 18th places.

For the 450SX qualifiers, Dylan Ferrandis topped the Red Rider effort with an eighth-fastest time. Joey Savatgy and Dean Wilson followed closely in ninth and tenth places. Shane McElrath was just behind them in eleventh position.

In the heat races for the 250SX East category, Hymas secured a second-place finish in heat one. Park finished fifth, while Neese and Colip took sixth and seventh places respectively. In heat two, Kobusch claimed fourth place with Miller and Clark finishing seventh and ninth.

The LCQ saw Rodbell clinch the final transfer spot with a fourth-place finish. In the 450SX heats, Ferrandis finished third in heat one with Wilson right behind him in fourth place.

Lars Lindstrom, Team Manager of Honda HRC Progressive, expressed satisfaction with their performance despite challenges. "Our results weren’t quite as beautiful," he noted but praised Dean's improvement over previous races.
