Bugatti Bolide Owner Enjoys First Track Experience At Circuit Of The Americas
The Bugatti Bolide stands out as a unique, track-only creation from Molsheim, designed for exceptional experiences. While most owners await exclusive 2025 track events, one U.S. owner couldn't wait. Eager to explore his Bolide's potential, he booked a track session as a personal gift. This marked the first time a customer took their Bolide to the track post-delivery.
Before hitting the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Bugatti's team ensured everything was ready. The day prior, the owner received a detailed handover and technical briefing. This preparation was crucial for tackling COTA's 5.513-km circuit with its 20 challenging corners. The anticipation grew as he prepared for an adrenaline-filled day.
The owner started with two warm-up laps to understand the Bolide's handling. After returning to the pits for final checks, including tire pressures and oil levels, he was ready for more intense laps. Despite rain adding difficulty, it enhanced the thrill as he pushed both himself and the car to their limits.
During this session, the driver reached a top speed of 333 km/h. It wasn't just about speed; it was about connecting with a machine built for greatness. Even in challenging conditions, the Bolide showcased its unmatched capability, elevating the driving experience beyond imagination.
"Sitting behind this extraordinary machine was unforgettable," said the owner. "Once trained, it's easy to handle and offers legendary Bugatti performance." He expressed gratitude towards Bugatti and Bugatti Beverly Hills teams for their support throughout this journey.
The owner's Bolide is finished in French Racing Blue with Nocturne accents like Nocturne Black Carbon on lower sections. This design pays homage to Bugatti's racing history and philosophy, inspired by icons like the Type 35 – history's most successful racing car.
Inside, French Racing Blue blends with Beluga Black Alcantara and polished aluminum accents. A custom track plate inscribed 'Équipe Curtis' adds a personal touch, honouring Ettore Bugatti’s famed ‘Équipe Bugatti’ racing team.
