Bridgestone India has recently inaugurated four new Select outlets in Hyderabad, further broadening its flagship store network within the city. Now boasting a total of 46 stores in Hyderabad alone, Bridgestone aims to revolutionize the tyre purchasing and servicing landscape. These additions are part of Bridgestone's global strategy to enhance mobility solutions through offering high-quality tyres and rubber products.

In a move to cater to the sophisticated requirements of Indian consumers, Bridgestone India has been at the forefront of providing an engaging and educational shopping experience. The Select Stores come equipped with interactive demonstrations, enabling customers to grasp the significance of various tyre services. This initiative not only educates but also empowers the buyers, ensuring they benefit maximally from their tyre investments.

Bridgestone India Opens Four New Select Stores

Hiroshi Yoshizane, the Managing Director of Bridgestone India, emphasized the significance of Hyderabad as a key market. "Hyderabad is an important market for us, and we're proud to expand this pioneering concept of Select stores in the city. Bridgestone is committed to provide superior Products and Services to customers in line with its mission of serving society with superior quality. At Bridgestone, we've consistently led in enhancing customer experience, and these stores will help customers in Hyderabad to make informed tyre choices tailored to their needs. It also offers our dealers a unique, differentiated format to drive more walk-ins. As tyres are the only point of contact between a vehicle and the road, the store is designed to offer customers premium products, services, and an elevated buying experience through its exclusive network."

The Select Stores span across various prime locations including New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Kolhapur, Chennai, and now more prominently in Hyderabad. Bridgestone’s concept behind these stores is to meet the demand for a more advanced tyre retail experience. This approach is part of their broader strategy to not only assist in tyre selection but also to elevate the overall customer service experience through comprehensive tyre and related services.

Bridgestone India holds a commanding presence in the country with a network of over 3,200 dealers, which includes 820 Bridgestone Select outlets. The company’s initiative to expand its retail footprint is reflective of its commitment to dominate and grow its market share in the passenger car aftermarket sector, where it currently enjoys a 20% share.

The manufacturing capabilities of Bridgestone in India are significant, with two main plants located in Indore and Pune. Together, these facilities produce more than 30,000 tyres daily. The Indore plant accounts for 19,500 of these, while the Pune facility produces 11,000. Bridgestone has announced plans to increase its annual production capacity from 10 million to 11.1 million tyres by 2029. This expansion is backed by an investment of $85 million, underscoring the company's commitment to the Indian market. Among the products that have gained traction are the Turanza 6i, designed for electric vehicles, and the Dueler A/T, favored by SUV enthusiasts.
