Brandon Palaniuk Officially Joins Team Toyota Ahead Of The 2025 Fishing Season
Brandon Palaniuk, a seasoned angler, has officially joined Team Toyota for the 2025 season. His journey with Toyota began in 2010 when he purchased his first Tundra. Over the years, he has been an advocate of the Toyota Bonus Bucks program, which played a crucial role in launching his professional career. "I credit the money I made through Bonus Bucks with helping launch my professional career," Palaniuk said.
Palaniuk's early days were challenging as he juggled working for a timber company and participating in fishing tournaments. The additional income from Bonus Bucks was vital in funding his initial year on tour. Since then, he has achieved significant milestones, including winning the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship in 2010 and becoming a two-time Bassmaster Angler of the Year.

Toyota has long supported bass fishing across the United States. Their commitment extends to sponsoring major tournament trails and initiatives like the BassmastHER movement. They also support amateur anglers through the Toyota Bonus Bucks program. Brandon's addition to Team Toyota strengthens this legacy of backing bass fishing at all levels.
Reflecting on his journey, Palaniuk shared how he aspired to join Team Toyota after buying his first Tundra due to their involvement in the sport. "A big reason I bought that first Tundra was Toyota’s involvement in the sport and because I aspired to be one of the guys on Team Toyota," Palaniuk recalled.
Toyota has been part of North America's cultural landscape for nearly 70 years, focusing on sustainable mobility through its brands and dealerships. With over 64,000 employees in North America, they have produced nearly 49 million vehicles at 14 manufacturing plants. In spring 2025, their North Carolina plant will start producing automotive batteries for electrified vehicles.
The automaker offers more electrified vehicle options than any other company, currently providing 32 choices. This aligns with their commitment to advancing next-generation mobility solutions.
Dedra DeLilli, vice president of marketing communications at Toyota Motor North America, expressed excitement about Brandon joining Team Toyota: "Brandon joining Team Toyota is a full circle moment for our involvement in the sport." She emphasized their pride and eagerness to support his career further.
Palaniuk's achievements include six victories in Bassmaster Elite Series events, with his latest win occurring in February 2025 at Lake Okeechobee. Joining Team Toyota is a significant milestone for him as it fulfills a long-held aspiration to be part of a team he admired from the start of his career.
"Fast forward over a decade, it’s incredibly humbling to be mentioned in the same conversation and on the same team as the anglers I idolized at the start of my career," Palaniuk stated. He considers it an honour not taken lightly.
