BMW X5 M Sport Pro Launched At ₹1.13 Crore - More Tech & Sportier Looks

German luxury carmaker BMW has expanded its X5 lineup with the launch of new M Sport Pro variants. The petrol-powered BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport Pro is priced at ₹1.13 crore, while the diesel-powered BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport Pro is offered at ₹1.15 crore (ex-showroom).

Both BMW X5 M Sport Pro trims feature a sportier design package compared to the "regular" X5. Key changes include gloss black detailing on the kidney grille, air dams, and exhaust tips. The new X5 variants also feature an M Sport exhaust, red brake callipers, piano-black cabin inserts, and signature M-branded seatbelts.

Both models use BMW's 3.0-litre, turbocharged six-cylinder engines. The petrol produces 375 bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel delivers 282 bhp and 650 Nm of peak torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels and are supported by 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.

Air suspension now comes as standard across the X5 range. The xOffroad package has also been added, introducing four terrain-specific modes: xSand, xRocks, xGravel, and xSnow. Each mode alters suspension height, traction settings, throttle response, and transmission behaviour to suit conditions.

Inside, the X5 M Sport Pro variants are fitted with BMW's curved display setup, combining a digital instrument cluster with a large infotainment screen under a single pane of curved glass. Other equipment includes comfort seats, four-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium Harman Kardon audio system.

Local assembly of the X5 continues at BMW's Chennai plant. With these updates, the X5 range in India now starts at approximately ₹1.00 crore for the standard variants. The new M Sport Pro versions sit at the top end of the lineup, priced up to ₹1.15 crore, strengthening BMW's presence in the luxury SUV segment.
