BMW Z4 Final Edition Revealed: The Last Ever Two-Door Roadster
German automaker BMW has revealed the Z4 Final Edition. The production of the third-generation model is set to end in March 2026, and the car will be sold only in limited numbers. According to reports, this could be the final time we see this two-door convertible roadster, as no successor has been announced yet. BMW developed this car in partnership with Toyota, where they built the Supra with different suspension and engine tuning.

This car arrives with a Frozen Matte Black colour scheme with gloss black detailing around the grille. The M High gloss shadow line is extended to the rear, and it looks stunning from the sides. It also features 19 and 20-inch wheels with M Sport brakes in high-gloss red, along with a sleek front and rear LED lights.

BMW has given the Z4 Final edition, a complete black treatment with red stitching on the dashboard, centre console, Steering wheel and instrument panel. It features M Sport seats with Vernasca leather/Alcantara with red stitching and the BMW logo.
Z4 Final Edition: Engine and Transmission
The brand plans to sell this Final edition across all the variants of the Z4, including the standard sDrive 20i, sDrive 30i and top-spec M40i. The base engine model has a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder Turbo-petrol engine that produces 197 bhp and 320 Nm torque. The 30i has the same engine producing 258 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The top-spec variant, the M40i, features a powerful 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 340 bhp and 500 NM of torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an additional 6-speed manual transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Z4 Final Edition: Price in India
BMW sells only the top-spec M40i variant in India, starting at 88.60 lakhs (ex-showroom). There is also a pure impulse edition selling for 92.6 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings for this final edition are scheduled to open from January 2026 and will be sold in limited numbers.
