Top 5 Things About The 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB
The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine has been updated for 2025 and is now available in India, starting at Rs 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The model now carries the 'Long Wheelbase' (LWB) name instead of 'Gran Limousine'. This refreshed version introduces several changes, including a new colour option and improved interior features.
Exterior Design
The 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB retains its familiar kidney grille and bumper design. It measures 4,819mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,961mm, offering the most spacious second-row seating in its class. The exterior now includes Aluminium Satinated trims and a gloss black rear diffuser. Four metallic paint options are available: Arctic Race Blue, M Carbon Black, Mineral White, and Skyscraper Grey.

Interior Enhancements
Inside the cabin, BMW has enhanced the fit and finish quality. The interior trim strips now feature an Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite finish. A new flat-bottomed steering wheel has been introduced along with redesigned air-con vents. The ambient lighting area includes an illuminated contour strip behind the front seats.
Features
The feature list remains consistent with the previous model. It includes a 14.9-inch BMW Curved Display infotainment system, a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable seats with extendable thigh support, and a panoramic sunroof. Additional features include six dimmable ambient lighting options and tri-zone automatic climate control with active carbon filters.
Performance
The new 3 Series Gran Limousine is currently offered only in the 330Li M Sport petrol trim. Diesel variants will be available later. The petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo engine producing 258hp and 400Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 6.2 seconds using an 8-speed automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels.
Safety Features
Safety features include BMW's Driving Assistant ADAS technology with blind spot detection, lane change warning, and collision alerts. The car also offers six airbags, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold functionality.
DriveSpark Thinks
At Rs 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom), the new BMW 3 Series LWB is priced Rs 2 lakh higher than its predecessor and competes against models like the Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in India’s luxury sedan segment. That being said, we expect this model to be very successful in India.
