The Tata Punch SUV has emerged as India's best Micro SUV in 2025. It is priced from 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available with petrol, CNG, and EV powertrains. The regular ICE variant is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission.

Though it's a micro SUV, it comes with a spacious cabin, a single-pane sunroof, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a fortified cabin, a reverse parking camera, 187 mm ground clearance, drive modes, cruise control, and a rear defogger. This car has received a 5-star Global NCAP crash rating, making it one of the safest SUVs sold in India.
Best Sub 4 Meter SUV - Hyundai Venue
After a very tough competition with cars like the Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq and the Tata Nexon, we have chosen the Hyundai Venue as India's best sub-4 meter SUV in 2025. This car stands out because of its premium features, safety, and multiple powertrain options.

Best Luxury SUV car - Mercedes-Benz GLS
India's best luxury SUV is the Mercedes-Benz GLS. It offers a three-row spacious cabin with top tech and comfort features. The car is priced at around 1.32 crore (ex-showroom) and is available in both petrol and diesel powertrains.

It features a premium cabin with the latest MBUX multimedia system, a Burmester surround sound system, ambient lighting, luxury seating, and an updated steering wheel and upholstery. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, advanced driver assistance functions, and the Mercedes Pre-Safe system.
