Bentley Showcases Largest Ever Presence At Goodwood Festival Of Speed With UK Debut Of Bentayga Speed
Bentley has made a grand return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking its most significant presence yet. The event features a new two-storey stand, showcasing over 30 Bentleys. Among the highlights are the UK debuts of the Bentayga Speed and Batur Convertible on the renowned Hillclimb. This impressive display aims to captivate the 200,000 visitors attending the festival.
The Bentley stand at Goodwood is a marvel in itself. Spanning 500 square metres and constructed with over 200 tonnes of steel, it is Bentley's largest show stand at this event. This structure offers an elevated level of hospitality for customers and VIP guests, providing them with an immersive experience into Bentley's world.
Visitors can explore three of Bentley's latest models prominently displayed at the front of the stand. The Continental GT Speed in Orange Flame showcases a new carbon Styling Specification and Akrapovic Titanium sports exhaust. Meanwhile, the Black Edition Flying Spur stands out with Mandarin brake calipers and black wheels.
On display in Storm Grey Satin is the Bentayga S Black Edition. This model highlights Crewe’s paintshop expertise, featuring a satin paint effect crafted over 55 hours. It also includes Klien Blue detailing options available with this edition.
The Bentley stand offers more than just cars; it provides interactive experiences for attendees. Live demonstrations showcase craftsmanship techniques like hand sewing steering wheels and creating veneer examples. Additionally, visitors can explore and purchase items from the Bentley Collection at the on-site boutique.
In addition to static displays, several Bentleys participate in dynamic events on Goodwood's famous hill climb course. The Supercar paddock features models like the Scarab Green Bacalar and Batur Convertible, both making their UK public debuts alongside other modern Bentleys.
Supporting Roles and Special Appearances
A fleet of chauffeur-driven Bentleys supports over 400 customers, media personnel, and VIP guests throughout the four-day event. These vehicles ensure smooth transportation while adding to Bentley's presence at Goodwood.
Among these supporting roles is a unique appearance by a Black Edition Bentayga used as a course car. This vehicle recently chauffeured Black Sabbath to their final show just six days prior to its appearance at Goodwood.
Bentley's participation extends beyond individual models; it includes special appearances by limited-run vehicles like the Speed Six Continuation Series. These rare cars add an extra layer of exclusivity to Bentley's presence at Goodwood.
