Bentley Home Introduces First Picnic Collection And Reimagined Outdoor Furniture For 2025

Bentley Home has introduced its first picnic collection, named 'Hyde', responding to customer interest in elegant outdoor dining. This collection includes four new designs: a woven picnic basket, single and double bottle holders, and a picnic blanket. Alongside this, Bentley Home has refreshed its outdoor furniture range, Solstice, with contemporary colours and finishes. The collection was developed in collaboration with Bentley Motors in the UK and Bentley Home in Italy.

The Hyde picnic set features a woven basket crafted from three thousand hand-knotted cotton threads, creating an intricate diamond pattern. Available in Forest Green and Rust, the basket is produced in a historic Tuscan factory. The yarn used is recycled cotton, woven in raw and waxed tones for a sophisticated texture that matches the leather upholstery of the set.

Inside the picnic basket are bespoke accessories designed to elevate outdoor dining. These include four Italian linen napkins with hand-embroidered blanket stitches available in Forest Green or Rust. Additionally, there are four Murano glass champagne flutes featuring the Bentley logo on their base, a handcrafted leather cutlery case, four porcelain coffee cups, and Desmond Plates made from enamelled copper using an ancient Italian 'art du feu' finish.

The Solstice outdoor furniture collection has been reimagined for 2025 by Carlo Colombo and the Bentley Motors design team. This range includes sofas, sunbeds, armchairs, pouffes, coffee tables, and side tables. Each piece incorporates the iconic Bentley matrix grille reminiscent of their car designs. New finishes include rich matte lacquer options in Forest Green or Burnt Orange to complement the Hyde picnic set.

Ben Saltmer from Bentley Motors expressed excitement about the Hyde collection's launch after extensive research and development. He stated: "The deep Forest Green and Burnt Orange palette which carries through the entire outdoor collection is both bold and sophisticated - and perfectly in tune with our contemporary vision." The focus on craftsmanship combined with practicality defines both the Solstice pieces and Hyde.

Andrea Gentilini of Luxury Living Group highlighted how closely monitoring customer demands led to innovative product ranges like Hyde. He mentioned that it caters to global customers' tastes across international markets while enhancing outdoor living experiences alongside Solstice furniture.
