Bentley Continental GT Supersports Revealed - The Devil's Favourite Bentley
Bentley has revealed the new Continental GT Supersports, marking a sharp shift back toward driver-focused engineering with a rear-wheel-drive layout and a lighter, more responsive chassis.
The Bentley Continental GT Supersports drops the hybrid and all-wheel drive tech found in other Bentleys, aiming to deliver a purer experience that highlights balance, steering feel and power delivery.

The Supersports uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 666PS and 800Nm of peak torque, channelled to the rear axle through an eight-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox and an electronic limited-slip differential. Bentley has updated its eight-speed dual-clutch transmission for quicker response, with sharper downshifts and more immediate throttle reaction.
Bentley has trimmed weight by removing the hybrid system, bringing the kerb figure below two tonnes and improving the power-to-weight ratio. The Bentley Continental GT Supersports accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds and tops out at 310km/h.

Chassis revisions include a wider rear track, active torque vectoring and rear-wheel steering calibrated for agile cornering. Bentley has tuned the suspension for flatter body control through high-speed bends, giving the Supersports a more connected feel that differs from the luxury-led tune familiar across the broader Continental GT lineup.
Exterior updates highlight the car's focused intent. Extensive carbon-fibre components such as the roof panel, front splitter, side sills and fixed ducktail spoiler increase overall downforce by more than 300kg compared to the standard GT Speed. Large centre-lock forged alloys and carbon-ceramic brakes underline the Supersports' performance-oriented direction.

Inside, Bentley has removed the rear seats entirely, replacing them with a carbon-fibre structural tub to reduce weight and create a more focused driving environment. The front seats are mounted lower and provide stronger bolstering, combining a sporting stance with the brand's signature craftsmanship and high-grade cabin materials.
The Continental GT Supersports' driver-centric layout brings a cleaner cockpit theme, losing some of the heavier luxury bits normally found in other Continental GT variants. Bentley has retained its signature rotating display, but interior trims emphasise lightweight construction rather than ornate embellishment.

Production of the Bentley Continental GT Supersports will be strictly limited to 500 units worldwide, with order books scheduled to open in March 2026. Deliveries are expected to begin early in 2027 once assembly commences toward the end of next year. Pricing remains undisclosed.
Bentley's Chairman and CEO, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser, commented: "The new Supersports is more than just the most driver-focused Bentley yet. It signifies a return to Bentley making more extreme cars - ones that combine extraordinary breadth of ability with true driver engagement, while remaining pieces of automotive artwork unique and bespoke to each customer. Bentley has always thrived when revealing a more daring side, and the new Supersports is a statement of our intent while celebrating 100 years of the name. This is the first project developed from start-to-finish since I joined Bentley Motors, and I'm proud of our team and the speed at which we've created a car so different to the GT on which it's based."
