Automotive Career Fair Hosted By Acceler8 And Petersen Museum To Connect Students With Industry Leaders
The Petersen Automotive Museum, in collaboration with Acceler8, is hosting a Career Fair on March 26. This event will feature over 27 companies and schools, offering insights into the automotive industry. Aimed at high school and college students, it promises to be an engaging experience with experts and panel discussions.
Acceler8, a program run by law enforcement veterans, aims to assist at-risk youth by providing them with educational opportunities in the automotive sector. The Career Fair will see participation from nearly 30 businesses and over 300 students. It offers free entry for all attendees.
The event will bring together leaders from various sectors of the automotive world, including design, engineering, marketing, business, and technology. Students can explore potential career paths and engage directly with industry professionals to gain valuable insights into automotive innovation.
Formula DRIFT announcer Jarod DeAnda will host the event, introducing special guests from the automotive industry. These guests will speak to attendees and participate in panel discussions throughout the day.
Confirmed participants include Ford Motor Company, Mazda, Bridgestone, Mattel, NBC, Galpin Motors, O’Reilly Auto Parts, US Navy, West Coast Customs, and Waymo.
