VinFast VF e34 Showcased At Auto Expo 2025 - Compact Electric SUV With 319km Range
In the rapidly evolving Indian automotive market, VinFast, a Vietnamese car manufacturer, is making headlines at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Among its array of models showcaet at Auto Expo 2025 is the VinFast VF e34 electric SUV is capturing attention with its impressive single-motor setup and a notable range of 319 km.
The VF e34 is sports the marque's V-shaped connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), which cleverly incorporate the VinFast logo at their center. Below these DRLs, LED projector headlights illuminate the path ahead, while a sleek, blanked-off grille and a stylish air intake, adorned with chrome accents, enhance the vehicle’s front end.
The side profile is rugged, featuring black cladding around the doors and wheel arches, alongside 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and chrome window surrounds. The rear end continues the sophisticated design theme with wraparound LED tail lights connected by an LED strip echoing the front DRLs’ style, all of which complements the black rear bumper that adds to the EV's rugged charm.
On the inside, the VF e34 boasts a modern and minimalist grey interior theme, highlighted by a three-spoke steering wheel and a gloss black center console that extends into a vertically-mounted touchscreen infotainment system. The console also includes practical features such as cupholders, a rotary drive mode selector, and a push-button start/stop system.
The VF e34 does not skimp on technology and safety features. It is outfitted with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), automatic air conditioning, and a premium 6-speaker sound system. Additionally, a 7-inch screen on the rear center console enhances the passenger experience. For safety, the vehicle is equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ensuring peace of mind for its occupants.
The VinFast VF e34 is powered by a 41.9 kWh battery pack that drives a 150 PS electric motor mounted to the front axle with a peak torque output of 242 Nm. This setup enables a range of 277 km. Fast charging is quite efficient, with a DC fast charger capable of replenishing the battery from 10-70% in just 27 minutes. The EV also offers three driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—to cater to various driving preferences and conditions.
VinFast has yet to confirm the VF e34's launch in the Indian market. However, if it does come to India, the VF E34 could be positioned against the likes of the Hyundai Creta Electric and the Maruti e Vitara thanks to its range.
