VinFast, an electric vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam, has entered the Indian market by showcasing two electric SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Expo. These models, named VF 7 and VF 6, highlight VinFast's commitment to expanding its presence in the EV sector. The VF 7 is a 5-seater crossover that boasts a modern design and advanced features.

VinFast VF 7 Exterior Highlights

The VF 7's exterior includes a shark-fin antenna, split LED headlights, and wraparound LED taillamps. It also features a full-width LED lightbar and a roof spoiler. The door handles are flush-fitting, adding to its sleek look. Buyers can choose between 19-inch wheels for the Eco variant and 20-inch wheels for the Plus variant.\

VinFast VF 7 Interior & Features

Inside the VF 7, passengers will find a dual-tone interior with brown and black accents. This crossover comfortably seats five people. The Eco variant is equipped with a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, while the Plus variant offers a larger 15-inch display. Both versions include a head-up display, over-the-air updates, ADAS technology, and a panoramic sunroof.

VinFast VF 7 Powertrain Specifications

The powertrain of the VinFast VF 7 varies between its two variants. The Eco version is powered by a single electric motor delivering 201bhp and 310Nm of torque. In contrast, the Plus variant features dual motors with a combined output of 349bhp and 500Nm of torque.

VinFast VF 7 Battery Pack & Range

Both variants of the VF 7 are equipped with a 75.3kWh battery pack. That being said, the Eco variant can travel up to 450km on a single charge according to the WLTP cycle. Meanwhile, the Plus variant offers slightly less range at 431km per charge under similar conditions.
