VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle maker, showcased its VF 3 model, the smallest electric vehicle in its lineup, at Auto Expo 2025. This showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 comes nearly a year and a half after its global debut in August 2023, which saw it gaining remarkable traction in its home of Vietnam.
The VF 3's design is a modern take on classic styles, presenting a compact yet striking appearance. With dimensions of 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, and 1,622mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,075mm, it solidifies its stature with a ground clearance of 191mm and aerodynamically efficient 16-inch alloy wheels, distinguishing itself as a mini-SUV.
Interior and Features
Inside, the VF 3 prioritizes simplicity with its interior layout, including a two-spoke steering wheel and vertical air vents accented with yellow. It's equipped with contemporary features like a 10-inch touchscreen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and keyless entry. The vehicle's practicality is enhanced by a foldable rear seat, expanding the boot space to 285 litres.
The vehicle boasts a 32 kW electric motor at the rear, delivering a torque of 110 Nm. This power allows the VF 3 to reach speeds of 50 kmph from a standstill in 5.3 seconds. Its 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery offers a range of up to 210 km on a single charge, based on the NEDC cycle, and can be fast-charged from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes.
