At Auto Expo 2025, Toyota has showcased a concept that redefines the typical van design catering to adventurous spirits and family outings alike. The Toyota X-Van Gear emerges as an enticing option for those who find the cramped quarters of traditional SUVs less appealing for their active lifestyle.
The Toyota X-Van concept vehicle promises to deliver the best of both worlds by combining spaciousness and comfort with rugged capability. The X-Van is 4695mm long, 1820mm wide, and 1855mm takk, indicating a generous interior space that can cater to both gear and passengers comfortably.
Toyota remains undecided about the X-Van's powertrain. The concept is expected to share its foundations with the Alphart/Vellfire models which could allow for either a hybrid or electric powertrain, adapting to market demands and trends.
The X-Van Gear's length matches that of the base Hi-Ace, hinting at the possibility of the X-Van replacing the Hi-Ace in the future. This transition could offer a more spacious and comfortable experience even in the base Hi-Ace variants. The width of the current Hi-Ace ranges from 1695mm to 1970mm, depending on the version.
