Production-Ready Tata Harrier EV Unveiled At Auto Expo 2025 - Ready For Silence?
Tata Motors unveilied the Harrier EV at Auto Expo 2025 in Delhi. The Harrier EV sets a new standard for Tata's EV with its impressive 500km+ range on a single charge, showcasing Tata Motors' dedication to improving its EV solutions. Built upon Tata's Gen2 architecture, it incorporates a Quasi-All-Wheel Drive system, dubbed QWD, with dual motors for enhanced performance and efficiency.
The Harrier EV preservies the silhouette of its internal combustion engine (ICE) variant but add design cues from the Curvv coupe SUV, including a refreshed grille which is closed off from the world outside, a refreshed front bumper with slats for coooling alongside distinctive LED headlights, DRLs and taillights along with new alloy wheels.
Inside, the Harrier EV mirrors the spacious cabin layout of its ICE counterpart but introduces a modernized user interface for the infotainment and instrument clusters. It doesn't compromise on features, offering an Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) safety package, a variety of connectivity options, and a panoramic sunroof, ensuring a comfortable and safe driving experience.
A particularly innovative addition is the summon mode, which allows the vehicle to operate autonomously without driver input, underscoring Tata's emphasis on forward-thinking technological solutions.
