Auto Expo 2025: Tata Avinya X Top Highlights & Expectations
Tata Motors has unveiled the Avinya X concept at the Auto Expo 2025. This model is set to be the first in a new line of premium electric vehicles from Tata, expected to launch in 2026. The Avinya X concept showcases a large coupe-SUV design, distinct from the wagon-like concept revealed in 2022. This marks a significant step for Tata's upcoming range of premium EVs.
Tata Avinya X Design
The Avinya X boasts a striking design with high ground clearance and sharply angled front and rear windscreens. Its smooth yet muscular body panels are complemented by an expanded 'T' logo that doubles as an LED lighting signature at both ends. The clean front and rear fascia are accentuated by gloss black finishes on the bumpers, adding to its sleek appearance.

Tata Avinya X Interior & Features
Inside, the Avinya X features a two-spoke steering wheel with a prominent centre boss. A floating central infotainment screen, reminiscent of the Range Rover SUV, enhances its modern appeal. A slim band of screen spans the dashboard for instrumentation duties, while concealed AC vents maintain a minimalistic theme. The interior also incorporates sustainable materials, reflecting Tata's commitment to eco-friendly design.
The vehicle's profile is characterised by a coupe-like silhouette with contrasting C-pillar finishes and large dual-tone wheels. Active-aero elements are included to improve efficiency further. Slim horizontal strips of daytime running lamps with Matrix technology enhance visibility at night, adding to its futuristic look.

Tata Avinya X Expected Features
The production version of the Tata Avinya X is anticipated to include advanced features such as vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) capabilities. A panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, multi-zone auto AC, 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite are also expected. These features aim to provide convenience and safety for future users.
Tata Avinya X Technical Details
Technical details about the Tata Avinya X remain limited; however, it will utilise JLR's EMA platform. This scalable platform allows for various battery pack configurations, promising at least 500km of range with fast charging capabilities. Such flexibility ensures that different customer needs can be met effectively.
