Auto Expo 2025: Mahindra XEV 7e, Rall-E Concept & Other SUVs To Be Showcased At Bharat Mobility Expo
Mahindra is set to make a significant impact at the Auto Expo 2025 with its latest electric vehicles (EVs) and concept cars. Known for typically avoiding public motor shows, the Indian manufacturer aims to captivate audiences with its new EV lineup. The spotlight will be on the BE 6 and XEV 9e models, alongside a few intriguing concept vehicles.
Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e
The BE 6 and XEV 9e are built on Mahindra's innovative INGLO platform, designed specifically for electric vehicles. These SUVs offer distinct design philosophies. The BE 6, measuring 4.3 metres, boasts a sporty and radical appearance. In contrast, the larger 4.8-metre XEV 9e opts for a more practical design while maintaining a coupé-SUV silhouette.

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e share powertrain components and battery configurations. The base model features a 59kWh battery paired with a single rear motor, delivering 231hp and 380Nm of torque. The BE 6 claims a range of 556km, while the XEV 9e offers a slightly lower range of 542km (MIDC). For those seeking more power, the top-spec Pack Three variant comes with a larger 79kWh battery, producing 286hp and maintaining the same torque output.

Mahindra XEV 7e
The XEV 7e will likely feature conventional SUV styling compared to its sibling, the XEV 9e. It will offer three-row seating instead of the raked roofline seen in other models. Sharing many features with the XEV 9e-including safety equipment, technology options-this model is anticipated for release later this year.

Mahindra Rall-E Concept
The Rall-E concept will also be showcased at Mahindra's pavilion. This rugged version of the BE 6 was first introduced in February 2023 during Mahindra's EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad. Designed for off-road adventures, it features significant design modifications to enhance its rugged appeal.
The Rall-E replaces the BE 6's C-shaped daytime running lights with a sleek strip and incorporates round headlights within a heavily cladded front bumper. Additional cladding extends along its profile, complemented by robust tyres. At the rear, C-shaped tail-lights are swapped for a single strip, accompanied by an aggressive bumper design.
Accessories such as a roof-mounted carrier, spare wheel on top, and jerry cans complete its off-road look. Meanwhile, Mahindra plans to unveil another model called the XEV 7e at the expo. This vehicle is expected to be an electric counterpart to the ICE-powered XUV700.
