Auto Expo 2025: Kia Carnival Hi Limousine Showcased At Bharat Mobility Global Expo
The Kia Carnival Hi Limousine, has been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This model, which first made its Indian debut in the form of the previous avatar of the large SUV at Auto Expo 2020, now returns at Auto Expo 2025 bearing the face of the new-generation Carnival.
Distinguished by its high roof setup, the Carnival Hi Limousine retains the aesthetic of the standard Carnival but enhances passenger comfort and luxury, particularly with its exclusive 6-seater configuration.

With its appearance at Auto Expo 2025, the Carnival Hi Limousine showcased its latest design elements that align with Kia's new design philosophy. This includes a striking grille adorned with chrome, vertically aligned four-piece LED headlights, and a set of connected LED tail lights.
The vehicle maintains the 18-inch alloys and sliding rear doors characteristic of the regular Carnival but stands out with its high roof body style, incorporating a roof-box for added space. This design approach not only enhances the vehicle's exterior appeal but also significantly boosts its practicality.

Inside the Carnival Hi Limousine, the luxury continues with a cabin designed to offer unparalleled comfort and convenience, especially in the second row. The second row comes equipped with individual screens allowing passengers to control various functions such as seat heating and ventilation, air conditioning, cabin lighting, and curtains.
The Carnival Hi Limousine also features two 12.3-inch displays—one serving as the touchscreen infotainment system and the other as the digital driver's display—alongside an 11-inch heads-up display (HUD). Comfort is further assured with a 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support and an 8-way electrically adjustable passenger seat.

In terms of safety and assistance, the Carnival Hi Limousine is well-equipped with eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, all-around disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also features a Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite, which includes front collision warning and lane keep assist, ensuring a safe and secure driving experience for all occupants.
Globally, the Carnival Hi Limousine is offered with two engine options: a 3.5-litre petrol engine delivering 294 PS and 355 Nm of torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 194 PS and 441 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The diesel variant is already available in India as part of the regular Carnival lineup.

Although the launch of the Kia Carnival Hi Limousine in India has not been officially confirmed, its arrival would introduce a high-end option in the MPV market, appealing to customers looking for luxury and exclusivity. Should it be introduced to the Indian market, it is expected to command a premium over the standard Carnival, positioning itself as a competitor to luxury MPVs such as the Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM.
