BYD Sealion 7 Showcased At Auto Expo 2025 - BYD's Big Roar
BYD at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 has showcased its latest offering foir the Indian market, the Sealion 7. This BYD Sealion 7, marks the brand's fourth foray into the Indian EV landscape, and the firm has opened booking for the SUV for Rs. 70,000. The first 70 customers can expect to receive their Sealion 7 by March 7, 2025.
The Sealion 7 boasts a sharp exterior highlighted by its sweptback LED headlights, daytime running lights, and distinctive wraparound LED tail lights. The dynamic look of the SUV is further enhanced by flared wheel arches with black cladding and a stylish roof spoiler. Inside, the cabin offers a digital instrument cluster, a significantly large rotating touchscreen display, and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
Advanced Safety and Comfort Features
The Sealion 7 doesn't just impress with its aesthetics and technology but also prioritizes safety and comfort with its comprehensive feature set. With 11 airbags and various driver assistance systems, this SUV ensures optimal safety for all occupants. Comfort is not compromised either, with features such as two-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats that are both heated and ventilated, a head-up display, a 12-speaker audio system, and a massive sunroof that enhances the spacious feel of the cabin.
BYD's Sealion 7 introduces two powertrain options to cater to different driving preferences. The premium variant, equipped with an 82.56kWh battery, supports a rear-wheel-drive system and delivers 308bhp and 380Nm of torque, offering a range of 567km on a single charge.
Alternatively, the performance variant provides an all-wheel-drive experience with the same battery capacity, producing 523bhp and 690Nm of torque but with a slightly reduced range of 542km per charge, catering to those seeking a more robust driving performance.
