Audrey Moore Honoured With What Drives Her Trailblazer Award At The 2025 Chicago Auto Show
Audrey Moore, vice president and chief engineer for North American sedan programs at Stellantis, received the What Drives Her Trailblazer Award. This recognition was given by the Chicago Auto Show organisers in collaboration with A Girls Guide to Cars and Women in Automotive. The award ceremony took place during the media preview of the 2025 Chicago Auto Show.
The What Drives Her event, now in its eighth year, is a platform that celebrates women making significant contributions to the automotive industry. It includes networking opportunities, panel discussions, and an awards program held at Chicago's McCormick Place. The event acknowledges women who are transforming the auto industry and those advocating for change.

Moore has had a distinguished 25-year career at Stellantis, holding various roles. She was the chief engineer for the new Dodge Charger multi-energy lineup, which features models like the Dodge Charger Daytona R/T and the 670-horsepower Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack. These vehicles are notable as they include the world's first electric muscle car.
In addition to her work on sedans, Moore is also leading the development of four-door Dodge Charger Daytona models set to launch in the U.S. in early 2025. The lineup will include models like the 550-horsepower Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O., powered by a 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane engine.
Scotty Reiss, founder of A Girls Guide to Cars, highlighted Moore's role as an inspiration for young women aspiring to enter traditionally male-dominated fields. "The role of the chief engineer at a brand like Dodge or Jeep is critically important," Reiss stated. "But to see a woman in that role opens the eyes of legions of young women who believe they can do it too."
The What Drives Her Trailblazer Award honours women who empower others by breaking barriers and pursuing non-traditional roles. It also recognises leadership qualities such as leading employee resource groups or mentoring programs.
A Legacy of Innovation
Besides her work on sedans, Moore has contributed significantly to various Jeep SUV programs. Her leadership continues to pave new paths within Stellantis and beyond, inspiring future generations of female engineers and leaders.
The What Drives Her event also presents awards in other categories such as Automotive Ally, Best Retailer, and Best In Craft Automotive Media.
