Antonio Filosa Engages With Employees During Michigan Plant Visits Ahead Of CEO Transition
Antonio Filosa, Stellantis COO for the Americas, visited two significant Michigan facilities in early June. This visit was part of his preparation to become CEO on June 23. His aim was to engage directly with employees and gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes.
During his tour, Filosa, accompanied by regional leaders, conducted meetings at the Detroit Assembly Complex - Jefferson and Sterling Stamping Plant on June 12 and 13. These sessions included operational reviews and employee interactions.
The Michigan visits were a continuation of Filosa’s North American listening tour, which started on June 6 at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. There, he led celebrations for Chrysler's centennial, featuring a mural and activities for both current staff and retirees.
These site visits reflect Filosa's proactive leadership style and dedication to enhancing collaboration within Stellantis' manufacturing network. This approach builds on the momentum from his previous European tour.
