Andrea Costantini Takes On Role Of Quality Director At Automobili Lamborghini
Andrea Costantini has been appointed as the new Quality Director at Automobili Lamborghini. With over two decades of experience at the company, he is well-prepared for this role. Costantini's journey in the automotive industry began after he graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Bologna. He initially worked with companies like VM Motori and Aprilia before joining Lamborghini in 2002. Over the years, he has taken on increasing responsibilities within the company, contributing significantly to its production processes.
From 2002 to 2004, Costantini was responsible for industrialization and technology on the Gallardo assembly line. He then played a crucial role in establishing the first Pre Series Center (PSC) while overseeing new model industrialization. By 2006, he had taken direct charge of production, managing vehicle assembly lines and final product approval.
Since 2021, Costantini has also served as Head of Manufacturing Engineering. This experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of production processes and quality assurance. His recent six-month training at Audi's Quality Assurance Department in Germany further prepared him for his new position.
