Other notable top-10 finishes included Marcus Armstrong in seventh and Kyle Kirkwood in eighth. Scott Dixon rounded out the top ten for Chip Ganassi Racing.
The race results highlighted the strength of Honda-powered cars, with several drivers achieving impressive positions. Graham Rahal secured 11th place for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, while Kyffin Simpson and Rinus VeeKay finished 15th and 17th respectively. Devlin DeFrancesco ended in 20th position, followed by Marcus Ericsson in 21st.
Reflecting on his victory, Alex Palou expressed immense satisfaction with his performance and strategy. "Number one! I'm very, very happy about this weekend," he said. He credited his team's decision to start on used alternate tires as key to maintaining speed towards the end of the race. Palou praised his team for their support and execution throughout the event.
Felix Rosenqvist shared insights into his race experience, noting challenges with tire performance. "It was a weird one! We really struggled on the black tires in the first stint," he explained. However, switching to red tires improved his car's performance significantly, allowing him to secure a top-five finish from ninth on the grid.

Kelvin Fu from Honda Racing Corporation USA commended Palou's drive under challenging conditions. "Great to go back-to-back for Honda to start the year," he remarked. Fu highlighted the collective efforts of Chip Ganassi Racing and Honda teams in refining every detail for competitive advantage this season.
