Acura ZDX Owners To Gain Access To Tesla Supercharger Network Starting June 2025 With New Adapters
Acura ZDX owners will soon have access to over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. This is possible with the introduction of Acura-approved NACS-CCS DC fast-charging adapters. These adapters will be available for purchase through authorized Acura dealers starting in June 2025. The adapter ensures a safe and reliable charging experience, having been tested for compatibility and performance with the ZDX model.
Customers can buy these new adapters from authorized Acura dealerships in the U.S. Pricing details will be announced closer to their market release. Owners will receive notifications via the Acura EV apps when these adapters become available. The apps will also help locate authorized Supercharger stations.
By 2030, Honda and Acura aim to provide access to around 100,000 DC fast-charge points across North America. This includes networks like Tesla Supercharger, IONNA, EVgo, and Electrify America. Ryan Harty, assistant vice president at American Honda Motor Co., Inc., stated that this expansion offers industry-leading fast-charging access for their EV drivers.
Acura emphasizes using approved adapters at Tesla Superchargers to ensure safety and reliability. Unapproved adapters could cause damage not covered by vehicle warranties. Tesla's policy also prohibits third-party adapters due to potential risks of injury or property damage.

Their lineup includes sport sedans like Integra and TLX, as well as sport-utility vehicles such as ADX, RDX, MDX, and the all-electric ZDX.
