Acura Aims For Victory At The 2025 Twelve Hours Of Sebring With Strong Driver Line-up
Acura is set to defend its title at the 12 Hours of Sebring, having won last year with drivers Jordan Taylor, Louis Deletraz, and Colton Herta in their Acura ARX-06. This year, Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian will field two electrified ARX-06 GTP class prototypes. The #60 car features Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist as full-season drivers, joined by Scott Dixon for endurance races like Sebring.
The #93 GTP car marks a significant step for Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) as they take on strategy and engineering roles in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for the first time. Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly will drive this car throughout the season, with Alex Palou joining them at Sebring. Palou recently secured a win at the IndyCar season opener in St. Petersburg.
Acura has an impressive history at Sebring, boasting nine victories overall. These include last year's GTP win, three class wins under the Acura name, four LMP2 class wins under HPD (now HRC US), and an overall win as HPD in 2016. This legacy highlights Acura's consistent performance and commitment to excellence in motorsport.
The #60 team finished second at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, featuring Felix Rosenqvist as a fourth driver. Meanwhile, Kaku Ohta will make his IMSA LMP2 debut with Era Motorsport at Sebring after contributing to the #93's efforts at Daytona.
The 12 Hours of Sebring will be broadcast live on NBC Peacock starting at 10:00 AM ET on Saturday, March 15th. International viewers can tune into IMSA's YouTube channel for coverage. Additionally, Radio Le Mans will provide live flag-to-flag commentary via IMSA.com.
Fans can also follow Acura and HRC US on various social media platforms for updates and content related to the race. These platforms include Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
This year's race promises intense competition as Acura aims to maintain its winning streak while introducing new strategies and drivers to their lineup. With seasoned drivers and innovative engineering from HRC US, Acura is poised for another strong performance at Sebring.
