4th Edition Acer FASTER Awards Set To Kick Off Tomorrow At Chennai's Iconic MMRT - Bigger & Better Than Ever

The fourth edition of the Acer FASTER Awards is set to kick off tomorrow at Chennai's iconic Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT). The jury round for the 4th Edition Acer Faster Awards will be held at MMRT (now known as the Madras International Circuit) on the 26th and 27th of February.

Like in the previous editions of the Acer FASTER Awards, all the new cars and bikes launched in the previous calendar year will be eligible. The final nominations shortlisted for the jury round of the 4th Acer FASTER Awards will be revealed tomorrow at MMRT, Chennai.

The jury members for the Acer Faster Awards 2025 include

Like in previous editions of the Acer FASTER Awards, the jury members consist of the leaders from the various constituents of FASTER (Federation of Auto Scribes of the Electronic Realm) - CarBlogIndia, DriveSpark, GaadiWaadi, GearFliQ, Motoroids and Pilot on Wheels.FASTER has a reach of over 250 million users in six different languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam making it one of the most influential organisations of its kind within the Indian auto media ecosystem.

4th Edition Acer FASTER Awards

Zen Microsystems, one of the nation's leading experts in automotive data testing, has once again joined the Acer FASTER Awards for 2025 as the data & testing partner and the jury round will be monitored by Markets & Markets as an independent validation agency.

Chennai's MMRT circuit is considered to be one of the hubs of motorsports in India. Built in the later 1980s and opened in 1990, MMRT features two different circuits with the longer main circuit measuring 3.71km long with 12 turns and 3 straights. The shorter club circuit is 2.06km long and features 7 turns. The MMRT was granted a Grade 2 license by the FIA in 2014. The race track was rebranded as the Madras International Circuit in July 2022.
