Acer FASTER Awards 2025 Jury Round Concludes
The jury round of the fourth edition of the Acer FASTER Awards concluded at Chennai's Madras International Circuit, formerly known as the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT). The jury round for this year's awards took place on February 26th and 27th at this iconic venue. All new cars and bikes launched in the past year were eligible for consideration.
Zen Microsystems, a leader in automotive data testing, partnered with the Acer FASTER Awards 2025 as the official data and testing partner. The jury for the Acer FASTER Awards 2025 included industry veterans from various member publications of FASTER (Federation of Auto Scribes of the Electronic Realm). Notable members were Amit Chhangani from Motoroids, Narendra Sharma from GearFliQ, Rohit Khurana from CarblogIndia, Gaurav Yadav from GaadiWaadi, Roshan Joseph from Pilot on Wheels, and Promeet Ghosh from DriveSpark.
With a reach exceeding 250 million users across six languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—FASTER is a significant force within India's automotive media landscape. The organisation's influence ensures that its awards are highly regarded in the industry.
Acer FASTER Awards Evaluation Process
The Acer FASTER Awards employ a structured points-based system to evaluate vehicles fairly across parameters like design, performance, technology, safety, and value for money. While scoring ensures objectivity, expert insights provide practical perspectives. This approach makes these awards a trusted benchmark for automotive excellence.

Acer FASTER Awards 2025 Categories
The product categories at this year's awards include Car of the Year, Bike of the Year, Premium Car of the Year, Premium Bikes of the Year, Scooter of the Year, EV Four-Wheeler of the Year, EV Two-Wheeler of the Year, Update of the Year, and Ultimate Icon Award. Non-product categories will also honour individuals and brands for outstanding contributions.
Narendra Sharma remarked on this year's jury round: "The Acer FASTER Awards 2025 showcased true automotive excellence with unwavering authenticity." Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT)
Chennai's MMRT circuit is a hub for motorsports in India. Built in the late 1980s and opened in 1990, it features two circuits: a longer main circuit measuring 3.71 km with 12 turns and three straights; and a shorter club circuit measuring 2.06 km with seven turns. In July 2022 it was rebranded as Madras International Circuit.
The awards distribution ceremony is scheduled for March when industry leaders will gather to celebrate excellence in automotive achievements. This prestigious event promises to be another milestone in recognising outstanding contributions within India's auto sector through these esteemed accolades.
