Abbi Pulling Joins Nissan Formula E Team As Rookie And Simulator Driver On Multi-Year Agreement
Abbi Pulling, a rising star in motorsport, has joined the Nissan Formula E Team as a rookie and simulator driver under a multi-year contract. The 22-year-old made waves last November by leading the timesheets during an all-women's session at Circuito del Jarama in Madrid. Her role will involve participating in Rookie Tests, simulator work, and event preparation.
Nissan entered the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in Season 5 (2018/19), marking its debut as the first Japanese manufacturer in the series. By Season 7 (2020/21), Nissan had committed to the GEN3 era, which spans from Season 9 (2022/23) to Season 12 (2025/26). In April 2022, Nissan took full ownership of its involvement by acquiring the e.dams race team.
Pulling's impressive racing background includes winning the 2024 F1 Academy title and being the first female driver to secure a victory in British F4. This year, she competed in GB3, finishing fifth at Silverstone's season opener. Her addition to Nissan is seen as a significant step for both her career and the team's development.

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship stands out as the first global sport certified with a net zero carbon footprint since its inception in 2020.
