2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Spotted Testing - Underbody CNG, New Wheels
A camouflaged prototype of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been spotted testing for the first time, signalling the start of development for a 2026 mid-cycle update of the sub-4-metre SUV. The test mule of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift retains the familiar profile of the current model but reveals several tweaks that will be seen on the updated SUV.
The rear section of the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift shows new alloy-wheel designs, while the tail-lamp housings appear to carry new internal detailing, and the camouflage suggests a possible connecting LED strip across the hatch. The bumper features larger sensor cut-outs, hinting at updated parking or driver-assistance hardware.

One of the most noticeable changes isn't visible but sits under the body of the SUV, where the test vehicle carries a CNG tank mounted beneath the floor instead of inside the boot. This approach follows Maruti Suzuki's newer CNG packaging setup that should free up additional luggage space for CNG variants.
Inside, the facelift is expected to receive a more premium layout with updated materials and a larger infotainment display. A 10.25-inch screen is reportedly under evaluation, along with features such as ventilated seats, ambient lighting and an updated digital cluster.

Early indications also point to the possibility of Level 2 driver-assistance features being introduced. The larger sensor housings visible on the rear bumper, suggest the facelift may receive expanded ADAS support.
The mechanical package for the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to remain the same as the current SUV's setup. The current 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech is likely to be retained for the Brezza facelift without major changes. The engine pushes out 102bhp/137Nm in petrol form and 87bhp/121.5Nm in its CNG guise.
Transmission options will also mirror the current Brezza, with both versions featuring a 5-speed manual transmission, while the petrol will also sport the current SUV's 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
