2026 Kawasaki Z650RS Launched At ₹7.83 Lakh - E20 Compliant & New Colourway
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Z650RS at an ex-showroom price of ₹7.83 lakh, reflecting a ₹14,000 increase over the previous model year. The launch of the updated 2026 Kawasaki Z650RS comes as a part of the bikemaker's revised product lineup for the new calendar year.
The 2026 Kawasaki Z650RS is offered in a new Metallic Ocean Blue paint scheme with contrasting gold accents, replacing the earlier black and gold colourway, while retaining the motorcycle's neo-retro styling elements, including the round LED headlamp and classic Z-series proportions.

Powering the 2026 Z650RS is a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 68hp at 8,000rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, with the engine now updated to comply with E20 ethanol-blended fuel regulations. As part of the E20 update, peak torque has dropped to 62.1Nm, which is 1.9Nm lower than the outgoing Kawasaki Z650RS.
The 2026 Z650RS retains all of the mechanical bits of its predecessor. The Z650RS features a high-tensile steel trellis frame suspended by 41mm telescopic front forks and a horizontal back-link rear monoshock.

Braking hardware consists of dual 300mm front disc brakes with dual-piston calipers and a 220mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS, with Kawasaki Traction Control offered with two selectable intervention levels. The Kawasaki Z650RS rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres.
The Kawasaki Z650RS features a seat height of 800mm, ground clearance of 125mm, kerb weight of 192kg, and a 12-litre fuel tank, with these dimensions carried over unchanged from the previous model year. Instrumentation on the 2026 Z650RS is the same dual-pod analogue layout with a central LCD multi-information display, while lighting is LED all around.
